I have been back on the day shift for a total of one week now, i realize each shift why i enjoy my nights so much. The constant run around, doctors, physio, tests, and trips to different areas drains me. Plus with being short staffed most days it makes giving 100% to each of the babes i care for that much harder.
I often think that maybe a monday to friday job would be fablous, but i just don't think i could handle being at work for more then 3 days in a row! As bad as that sounds....it is true.

- I am a baby nurse, who has the most amazing job on earth. I take of premature babies, also any babies who are sick or have developmental challenges. I absolutely love my job. I recently graduated after 10 years of university, (2 degrees)(i know but if i could be a professional student i would) I am also looking to further my education possibly become a nurse practioner or physician someday!

That's so cool you work in the baby ward. Too bad you're not at St.B though, because then you could be around to help Kyla and I birth our little ones. You must be an absolutely amazing nurse!
