Well the past three days at work have been complete and utter disasters. From Doc's not giving orders, or just wanting us to read their minds, to missing medications to test after test after test...life has been a crazy trian! I am happy to be home in the quiet and almost ready for bed.
I have spent the past month on the "day" shift and i can't do it any longer. I am finally back on nights next week and honestly i couldn't be happier.
There is definately something to say about working nights and absolutely loving it!
I can't beleive January has flown by and we will be starting a new month...time flies when you do nothing but work i guess.
I have holidays in 12 shifts and i am so very very excited, i don't have comfirmed plans to go anywhere quite yet but i do need to get away for a few days thats for sure!!
I am exhausted!! So i am going to tuck myself into bed and enjoy not hearing my alarm at 6am tomorrow morning!!

two off...too many on
I have found my way back to the blogging world....sort of. I just need to keep checking my other friends blogs and then i can update my own....daily....of a few times a week at least!!
What i have a been up to....well i feel like i live at work and don't do much else. My new rotation at the hopsital has me working in stretches of two or three with only two days in between to catch up with friends and keep my house standing! hahha
I did have the pleasure of meeting my girlfriends baby....she is absolutely precious. Kinda makes me want one, but then i remember that i wouldn't be sleeping through the night for a while and i am happy to visit when ever i can, and get my fill of her!! Plus my babies at work are so cuddly that i can't leave them all...
On another note i went for supper at earl's last week for a friends birthday, and have to say the service there SUCKED. not to mention that my food was cold, cause i saw it sitting under the warmer for what seemed like forever because everyone elses food was not done, but the stupid waitress dumped a glass of wine on me!! I don't know who trained her, but doesn't it make more sense to put the drinks on the table before you try and take things off of it???!!! Anyway that is about all the excitment from me....i didn't in the lottery so i am sure i will have more things to tell you about tomorrow!! hahah

making time...
ok so i haven't been the best at keeping things up to date, so i am trying to make some time and catch up on everything!!
hhhhmmmm where to start, so christmas was good, quick but good, i worked nights and had my little brother call me every hour and hang up on my answering machine so that was great i got lots of sleep that day. i made it to open presents and have something to eat before going back to work....it is all kinda of a blurr now!
New Years i headed west for a quick trip to visit and catch up with friends and family i have been missing. it was great to see everyone and just relax for a few days. I never realized how tired i was until i went away and spent most of my holidays lounging and sleeping like 10 hours at night!! it was great.
then of course back to reality...back to work...back to the gym...and now life is one big blurr and i don't really know what day of the week it is anymore...
I feel like i work so much that i need to move a bed in to a room at the hospital and just stay there!! I am just hoping this feeling goes away, i love my job but i would like my life back!!
